Aoi Dokutsu (Blue Cave) SHIBUYA 2026

The "Blue Cave SHIBUYA" Executive Committee will hold the illumination event "Blue Cave SHIBUYA" for 17 days, from Friday, December 11 to Sunday, December 27, 2026, from Koen-dori Street in Shibuya to the Zelkova Avenue in Yoyogi Park.

Approximately 500,000 Blue Lights Illuminate Winter in Shibuya

Approximately 500,000 blue lights combined with projected visuals create a dazzling winter scene in Shibuya. The event was held in Shibuya eight times in total, in 2016–2019 and 2022–2025, drawing a cumulative total of more than 16.5 million visitors, and has become established as a seasonal tradition of winter.

The New "Blue Cave THE BLUE TREE"

Replacing last year's popular giant snowman-shaped balloon, this year a Christmas tree-shaped signage, "Blue Cave THE BLUE TREE," appears at the Yoyogi Park Zelkova Avenue venue. Christmas-themed visuals are projected onto the tree, and it shows a variety of expressions as the visuals change.

The tree is a new symbol added to the fantastical space filled with all-blue illumination, expressing the world of Christmas even more richly. Visitors can enjoy walking along the sparkling blue tree-lined avenue, taking photos with the tree and sharing them on social media.
