Blue Cave SHIBUYA 2026 Opens, Featuring Christmas Tree-Shaped Signage "Blue Cave THE BLUE TREE"

Illuminations Paint Winter Shibuya Entirely in Blue

The large-scale winter illumination event "Blue Cave SHIBUYA," which lights up the area from Koen-dori Street to the Yoyogi Park zelkova tree-lined avenue in blue, will be held from Friday, December 11 to Sunday, December 27, 2026. In Shibuya, this popular event has welcomed more than 16.5 million visitors in total over eight editions: 2016–2019 and 2022–2025.

New: "Blue Cave THE BLUE TREE"

This year, a large Christmas tree-shaped signage display, "Blue Cave THE BLUE TREE," will appear at the Yoyogi Park zelkova tree-lined avenue venue. The signage will show a Christmas-themed video, creating a winter Shibuya atmosphere together with the all-blue illumination.

• Access: 10-minute walk from JR Harajuku Station or Tokyo Metro Meiji-jingumae Station. Also accessible from Shibuya Station, Yoyogi-Koen Station, and Yoyogi-Hachiman Station.

Lighting hours and event details may change due to rain or other conditions. The special sponsor is Nisshin Seifun Welna, which has continued its sponsorship since "Nakameguro Blue Cave" in 2014.
