Shibuya Snack Alley Opens Next to Shibuya Hikarie

Tokyu, Tokyu Recreation, and Online Snack Yokocho Bunka will open "Shibuya Snack Alley" on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, in the Shibuya 2-chome area next to Shibuya Hikarie.

Under "Tokyu Entermate," Tokyu's entertainment business brand, this project aims to elevate Japan's unique snack bar culture into modern entertainment. Four trailer houses designed to evoke snack bars will line the alley.

3 Permanent Snack Bars and a POP-UP Snack Bar

• Permanent venues: "Romantic," "Tsumugi," and "Sugi no Ko"
• 1 limited-time POP-UP snack bar (the mama and concept change each period)

The permanent venues will be run by mamas who have long been popular in Shibuya, including Dogenzaka, and other areas. "Tsumugi" is a shop behind Shibuya Mark City that serves medicinal herb curry by day and operates as a karaoke snack bar by night. "Sugi no Ko" is the second location of a karaoke snack bar near Shibuya Station.

Co-Creation Events with Companies

Experiences to be enjoyed across the entire alley are also planned, including collaborations with brands and products, seasonal events, and programs linking multiple venues. The fun of hopping from one venue to another is also part of the appeal.

By making use of land for temporary use until redevelopment begins, the project aims to revitalize Shibuya's nighttime economy. Payment will be cashless only, and details such as business hours and prices will be announced on the official website as they become available.
