Learning About Social Firms from the Employer's Perspective
A "social firm" is a self-managed business where people who face difficulties in working, such as illness, disability, or balancing work with childcare or caregiving, work together. This workshop series explores a society where everyone can work with peace of mind, through its philosophy, practical examples, and the efforts of employers. Now in its 4th year, this year's series will once again explore social firms in greater depth.
The theme of Vol. 3 is "The Reality of Social Firms." Naoe Ito, Representative Director of Francil Co., Ltd., will speak about the path to obtaining social firm certification, the challenges she has experienced in running the company, and the company's initiatives.
A time for dialogue between the speaker and participants is also planned, making it easy for first-time attendees to join.
