Shibuya Disaster Prevention Caravan in Uehara Area (FY2026 Shibuya City Comprehensive Disaster Drill)

Shibuya City will hold the Shibuya Disaster Prevention Caravan in Uehara Area as its FY2026 comprehensive disaster drill on Saturday, November 14, from 9:00 to 12:00 at Uehara Junior High School. This hands-on drill aims to raise disaster prevention awareness and strengthen the community's disaster preparedness, offering fun learning through practical exercises, exhibits, and stage programs. The event will be held rain or shine. There is no bicycle parking at the venue, so please use a nearby public bicycle parking facility.

Highlights

• Disaster prevention booths: Gain knowledge and skills useful in an emergency, including an elevator entrapment experience and a disaster toilet experience by the Japan Toilet Labo.
• Disaster prevention mini tour with firefighters: Learn about disaster prevention with guidance from firefighters.
• Power supply vehicle exhibit, evacuation shelter exhibit, and reception experience: See disaster-time facilities and the evacuation shelter process firsthand.
• Disaster prevention stage: In "Let's Play with Ultraman Zero!", parents and children can learn about disaster prevention through quizzes. "What Should We Do? Toilets During Disasters" by the Japan Toilet Labo will also be presented.

Visitor Gifts & Disaster Prevention Stamp Rally

All visitors will receive disaster prevention goods. Those who complete the stamp rally will receive either a meal or disaster prevention goods provided by a company engaged in disaster relief support. All items are available while supplies last.
